FML. Seriously. I'm going to buy a bicycle or something.
Took my SO's pig today as she keeps driving around town and I wanted to give her a spin. Driving down the freeway as usual, all of a sudden the car starts loosing speed while on cruise control, barely accelerates and I get an oil pressure monitoring failure message.
I stopped at a gas station right away, the engine had a knocking sound so I immediately shut it off and now it won't even turn over. Fcuuuuuk. If the engine is scored, I don't know if I keep the pig or not.

. Would be interesting to take the engine fully apart to investigate the reason.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune, but it sounds like you have a great solution at a reasonable cost. Care to share the info about the engine supplier? (So I can file it away for when I need it!)
