Cracked headers? I thought they are cast units from the factory?
Mind sharing a picture of the crack? I am interested to see where it cracked at. First I've heard of this on a Cayenne Turbo.
It may be worth mentioning that this is no "ordinary" CTT - this vehicle has had quite a few "tweaks" to put it mildly so any engineered headroom that may be built into OEM parts might well be eaten up
The manifolds on the Cayenne are comprised of an inner and outer shell, sealed independantly. Mine were cracked on the outer shell too but it's nothing to worry about.
I don't know, this is my first 957 TT, it's not a problem on my modified 955 TTS and there's waaay more heat under the hood on that one.
