Default MoBridge Is Awesome!

Installed mobridge module last week, the whole process is pretty simple, this thing is absolutley AWESOME! Bluetooth music streaming sound quality is very good! Interface is a bit confusing at first but you get use to it after playing with it. One thing I wanted to ask is how do I get rid of an error on start up (no sattelite radio present) (no CD changer present)? Do I need to remove my CD changer, I already removed aftermarket sattelite radio and put it up on ebay..

Hi there 957Turbo,

I am glad you're enjoying your MoBridge unit. I believe you've to update via a PIWIS cable, which only the dealers have.

Look here: https://rennlist.com/forums/porsche-...otchyas-2.html

I need to get my CDC coded out by the dealer. Btw, on the '08 Cayennes, the PIWIS takes forever to connect. Tell the dealer to be patient- it will save you a second trip back like I have to do.

Cheers,
TomF

The latest firmware made this Bluetooth audio better. In the past there was a lot of interference. I am glad you're happy with your purchase.

Anyone know where to get a new microphone for a Mobridge? When we moved it from my other car, the microphone was too difficult to remove so we left it in place.

I called Mobridge USA and got a somewhat indifferent person who said, call a dealer...

Thoughts?

Best,
TomF

You cannot get to that on Durametric, PIWIS is needed to re-order and remove a componant
