Default 20" 958 GTS / Turbo wheels on a 957 Turbo with ITM TMS

My contribution back to the forum, I could not find a single picture of a 957 with 958 style GTS / Turbo wheels on the internet.

I went with the 20" because tire and wheel combo are around $1500 cheaper than 21" tires only, and when these are gone I will replace them with snows and get summers for my current 21" winters when those are worn

I installed the ITM 08003 433Mhz TPMS Sensors and they worked in less than 10 minutes with no programming. Set the TPMS to 20" summers. Tech said the hubs on the car matched perfect to the wheels.

$160 for the sensors shipped to my door and $80 to get them installed and my existing new wheels and tires re-balanced.

Still need to install the center caps. Only problem with this set is the tires are top rated for 145MPH, even though my truck has a top speed of 173MPH or so, I don't plan on going that fast I keep it in the double digits.

Very nice! This is the route I am considering. The 21 inch snow tires are unreasonably expensive and going with 20s basically means the wheels are free.

Cheers,

Thanks!

Now a new pic with the color metal crest stuck on. It came with the crests separated from the caps, had a shield groove in the plastic and had a peel and stick on the back of the shield. Just cleaned with goo be gone till it was squeaky clean and applied for 30 seconds.

Came free with the wheels and tire set.

Looks great, the wheel design makes them look larger than they actually are. Good choice.

Those are very nice looking wheels which, IMO, improves the look of the car considerably.

I got my set here for ~1600 shipped with yokohama tires:
http://www.ebay.com/usr/wheelfactory...p2047675.l2559

Some others said there were cheaper to go to for $599 ECS and get tires at tire rack:

I got the TPMS here:

I have the same style 20" replica Turbo II wheels, ebay colour crests, and ITM sensors on a 2013.

Very happy with the look, and a small fraction of the price of Porsche Turbo IIs!
