Default White wheels

I bought some used techno wheels off pelican. From the pics they looked all silver. Turns out the insides of the spokes were painted white. As well they are 9" front and 10" back with corresponding offsets. Found that out by trying to put a rear on the front and thinking I needed spacers to clear the brakes. lol. Here are a couple of pics. I can't decide whether i like the look or not. My original plan was to paint the insides of the spokes black.

It looks like the face of the spokes are still silver?

I can't make up my mind on it. It kinda looks good, but then it kinda doesn't. Maybe because your truck is black?

Now if the face/rim was black and the insides were white like they appear in the pics, that could be a nice look. Or it could be horrible. What do I know?

Not feeling the color of those wheels on a black vehicle. Probably would look better with a white Cayenne (which is probably what they were originally fitted to). The paint scheme was an option from the factory.

The more I look at them the more they just look wrong. Will be getting the paint out.

Maybe try masking and spraying with plasti dip for a trial run.

Good plan. I will have to wait about a month for the weather to warm up.

You guys are going about this all wrong!

Don't paint the wheels, paint the Cayenne

Or a couple of cool vinyl stripes to make the Cayenne match the wheels.

Something like this but white on eh the black car!

OK. I'll admit it. I don't like the side stuff on those 958s, but I kinda like the hood stripes

That's it! White hood stripes. I think I will just paint the wheels. I already stick out in my little town. Only Cayenne here. Most have pick ups, cherokees, and subaru wagons. The visitors drive audi's.

Cole, that's the ticket. I will duplicate that on the hood!

Painted the wheels yesterday. The white was just not cutting it.
