Does the GTS need PDCC?
Sorry I'm new to the Cayenne, coming from an X5M.
Does the Cayenne GTS need PDCC? I've read the reviews of PDCC and it seems like a must have option on the Cayenne. But given the fact that the GTS is already a tuned version of the Cayenne S, does it need PDCC?
The reason I ask is dealers don't stock cars with PDCC so its a special order.
I'm coming from the X5M and my current M5 where I don't use the M Modes often (i must be getting old)..i actually like it more comfortable these days
Thanks
Jeff

I opted for PDCC on my CTTS. Like you, I had to custom order. If your concern is primarily comfort, I think it is a must have as it reduces body roll. My wife reaches for the grab handles a lot less as she is not tossed around in her seat, our other car is a 20007 X5 4.8.

I think the gts comes standard with pdcc? I would get both pdcc and pasm buying a cayenne if nothing more than the option to make it ride and drive the way I want it too based on those parameters. I had a "06' X5is" with air suspension, the m tuned previous closest thing to the x5m. The BMW drives more like a car than my gts but I think the gts would push the threshold more of what these crazy SUVs will do and stay on the pavement. I really liked and had a good ownership experience with my bmw. But my gts is as well built if not better and more "fun" to drive.

I didnt know what PDCC stood for. I had to look it up. I have a 2009 GTS and I think I have this option. How do I confirm? i guess it would be on the sticker... da...
I am in love with this car. She is one that will continue to ask me for her more. I have to watch myself.

I do not have a PDCC reference like that on my buttons, guess I don't have PDCC as an option on my 2009 GTS. Being new to Porsche, I also don't think its necessary as I am in love with my new girl and she is handling like a dream!

I also stand corrected as I am new to mine as well. My 6spd gts doesn't have it either, my buttons are black :-(. Oh well after some quick searching the manual with pdcc is truly a unicorn. So without driving a pdcc car I can't say with certainty it's needed. I can say the air susp on sport is damn near tight enough to make mince meat out of your tires on a few track days :-) Overall I can say the gts handles and pushes the envelope of what an suv should be able to do.

HUGE difference in my opinion on a Cayenne. If you are looking, you need to drive one with, and one without to make up your mind. After driving one with PDCC, I decided it was a must have option.
