Default Nice Dealer Touch

I came home from a trip to find a gift from Porsche of Spokane. Totally unexpected, but a nice touch by George Gee. The magnum bottle of Bookwalter Foreshadow 2010 Cab not only has an embossed Porsche logo but the model bought as well. This may be enough to get me to drive the 2.5 hours over there for my upcoming 10K service. What has your dealer done for you lately? Cheers

Nice! I have heard really positive things about Porsche of Spokane. My better half is from Spoke-Vegas...
Headed there in two weeks.

Cheers,
TomF

Geez, all I got was a friggin' tin box of cookies. Granted they were good cookies but this is a much better expression of appreciation. I WON'T be going back to the dealer I bought the car from for anything (not cookies related) as the experience wasn't even close to what I expected from a "higher end" car dealership.

Got a $50 Christmas gift card from Walter's Porsche in Riverside, CA for use at their parts counter / gift shop. Super classy move, considering they also sponsor PCA track events every year. Nothing against Rusnak in Pasadena, but haven't ever gotten anything from them. Maybe they're not as hungry given all of the wealthy customers in the area.

Hehe, a friend of mine had his 996 turbo repaired a good couple of years back after he hit a small deer (it was almost a total), the dealership gave him his car on a friday saying they'll finish the billing paperwork on monday... the dealership offices caught on fire from a faulty printer on sunday, destroying all the paperwork so he got a free repair. cost saved (no insurance) - around 27k euros. lucky bastard.

Post What have you done for me lately?

Lets see; '12 958 with 12k miles in February '13. I purchased over the phone from Dallas. Didn't receive any goodies thus far and don't expect any. Last month I purchased a '14 C4S from my local dealer. My sales guy did the usual electronics set up and offered to come to my house and setup the Homelink but I had already done that. They have detailed it for me a couple of times, taken it to the custom shop for 3M Expel application, and are installing clear side markers for me tomorrow all gratis. It amazing how accommodating they are when you drop 6 figures on a car!
The wine is a nice touch and classy as well. The OP has a smart dealer.
