Default Driver side mirror auto-dimming

The drivers side mirror on my '04 CTT isn't dimming anymore at night. I think this is technically part of the anti-dazzle feature for interior and exterior mirrors. Anyone have any info on this before I tear into it?

The rearview mirror and passenger side are working normally. Thanks!

My exterior mirrors and interior rearview mirror are auto dim. It's a really nice feature.

Are you sure that only one mirror isn't dimming?

Remove the mirror glass from the housing and check the wiring connections at the back of the glass; not to be confused with the other two wires for the mirror heater.

If all checks out, look for traces of blue dye that may have oozed out of the glass sandwich and layered itself inside the mirror housing. If so, mirror glass replacement is imminent.

Can anyone post a wiring diagram that includes the dimming feature on the outside mirrors. My diagrams only have the details for heated mirrors without dimming.

Or if someone has something about how to test voltages on the wires themselves. I just don't know what voltages I'm supposed to be reading.

Place your car in your garage (daytime) with the garage door open.

Whilst sitting in the car look at your door mirrors looking at the view outside the garage.

Now hit the auto dim button on your roof mounted mirror to turn the green led off.

Observe the outside rear view as it should get brighter.

Press the auto dim button again illuminating the green led and the outside view should get dimmer.

Same can be achieved with ignition on, foot on the brake pedal, and selecting reverse on gear shift.

Whilst in reverse the mirrors should get bright, in park they should go dim.
