Which suspension setting do you use?
#16
Good point and hence one of the reasons for my poll. Since my last alignment, all four outer edges of my 21's have worn prematurely. My tire specialist has chalked up to over-use of the comfort suspension setting. Unless I'm in deep snow or rough terrain, I always ride at one notch below normal.

Burning Brakes
Most of my driving is set to Comfort/Low.
When I want to have more fun, I select the "Sport" button.
When I am on side roads, or in deeper snow, I am in Comfort/High.
Very occasionally I go into 4 wheel drive and the system automatically goes to highest setting.
When I finish my drive, I normally go to "load" height before shutting down.

Confusing enough, my tire specialist insists that a soft suspension setting may cause a considerable bounce which may have an effect on the outer edge of the tires.
Regarding tire pressure and for as long as I've owned sports cars with alloys, I've always kept about 2 lbs over the mfr's recommended tire pressure. The roads up here in Montreal are not forgiving to 21's.....

You need a new tire specialist as there's no way a properly performing air suspension has the tire bouncing along the road. Plus it would likely cause cupping, not outer edge wear.
I think your toe settings were too negative and thus the outer edges wore prematurely.
Ride height will change camber. But since it was aligned in Normal, you'd have to ride in high setting to reduce camber - and unlikely to reduce it by that much to wear the outer edges.

The alignment TSB says only do alignment in "Normal" height setting only. The suspension is setup so that whatever height you run at the alignment specs are supposed to be within range according to Porsche anyways.
I normal run in Low/Sport unless winter snow then I will run Normal/Normal.
