Did you install secondary catbypass pipes as these are 18 to 25 HP and the easiest bolt on possible.
I manufacture primary sport cats and catbypass pipes for all these cars.
Did you DYNO anything before you fabricated the rear X pipe.?

You should dyno everything first and last.
Looks like you are having fun.

I couldn't find a 4 wheel drive dyno at the time. Only butt dyno result and it's screaming. LoL.

Let me give you some advice and I am seriuos........I bought and owners a 2006 cayenne Tiwn Turbo S 520HP and we did all the DYNO development and testing on all products from rear mufflers, 2ndray catbypass pipes, EVO MS airintake, ECU chips EVOMS and we even made Primary catbypass pipes and sport cats for these cars.

The rear muffler system should NOT have an X merge in at the end as it lost significant power versus 2.75" 70mm pipes with straight through mufflers. I made an X with and with-out mufflers on my car............ my 955TT"S" and other cars all lost alot of power and the dyno did not have any issues.

I had a Porsche Atlanta factory Executive VIP Silver car for about 14 months and then sold it. Wife and kids were angry.

Forgot to mention my Xpipe is not at the end, rather more in the middle.
I trust your advice and while I'm at it, I'll try to dyno the car w/o the Xpipe and see what's gonna come out.

I have appointment with the exhaust shop to do new tips and downpipes soon in about 2 weeks. We will go to the dyno to get some numbers then.

From what I know on 6speed is that stock exhaust tip is quite restrictive. I thought it would be fine then so I didn't order the shop to have a pair made for me. So now I wait.

Any one have based dyno graph of the standard cayenne turbo? How much do they make bone stock?

Got a little side track just want to share with you guys. I had the shop redo my exhaust on my other SUV. along with the before and after dyno graph. My daily driver before the cayenne came along. Been with her 4 years now and been modifying since the first day I got her. A little 3 litre diesel common-rail turbo. originally she was 163hp and 360 nm of torque. The power she's making now the dyno graph say of itself.

I'm sorry but I thought mandrel bent pipes were one pipe bent to fit

Yours have a **** load of welds connecting the pipes....

Isn't that not mandrel bent?

yes you're right. The reason they're so many welds because the angles pieces get the exhaust to kind of go to the shape closer to the original location where mandrel bending one complete pipe would look nicer its still going to match up to about 80% of the original angle. It look kind of mean this way too. The exhaust get the job done. That all that matter. Noise factor I have a louder exhaust as for power gain I have not dyno test the car yet. Since the 4 wheel drive dyno is the other side of Bangkok and the 2 wheel drive mustang dyno is so close to home.

This is consistent with the available factory literature describing the 1st Generation Cayenne Turbo exhaust:

"Cayenne Turbo Exhaust System
The exhaust system on the Cayenne Turbo was matched
to the increased requirements and different exhaust gas
velocities and exhaust gas pulsations through exhaust
pipes with a larger cross section. As a result of the
smoothing of the exhaust gas pulsations in the
turbochargers, the demands on the rear muffler are
different than the Cayenne S. An optimal exhaust note is
achieved through specific damping and pipe routing inside
the rear muffler together with the tail pipes.
Differing from the Cayenne S, the exhaust pipes for the
Cayenne Turbo do not have a crossover pipe.

]The rear muffler on the Cayenne Turbo is also installed as
a visible design element. Exhaust gases leave the Cayenne
Turbo through two tail pipe tips on the outer left and right,
whose design differs from the Cayenne S."

Finally got my pair of agency power diverter valves. Will post more pictures during and after installation. Sending her to the exhaust shop to have the primary cats removed and the tips put on.
