Default Cayenne 955 Turbo Quest for power

Hi all,
Just feel like sharing with you my and my cayenne turbo 955 journey to add more power. Being in Thailand it's a bit more expensive to just import bolt parts to gain performance than to just have parts being fabricated to fit my car.

Things I had done so far are custom 3" mandrel bend exhaust with custom build mufflers and secondary cats removed. Custom intake from the turbos to the filters.

The pictures will say for itself.

using standard tips for now placed an order for the new tips 4x4.5inch tips. They didn't have the style i wanted at the time. So had to wait for it to be made and the appointment to come around to get it fitted.

It felt more responsive when I had the exhaust done. A bit louder when I get on the throttle compare to stock. I think my friend C63 made much louder exhaust note compare to the cayenne turbo.

To admit the truths after the air intake I don't the car had that much again comparable to when it was just exhaust and drop in k&n filter. The intake to my consideration is purely sound factor. You'll hear the bpv/bovs' noise and a bit louder turbos' suction noise.

Looks pretty good. Way to get around lack of available bolt ons.

Nice work on the fabrications. Do a search though, many say that K&N's or any oiled filter will shorten the life of the MAF's. Have you done the CAT bypasses too?

I'm not sure about oily filters. I had the k&n drop in filters only for about a month. The blitz LM seem a bit drier or less coated from oil than the k&n was.
I have only done secondary cat bypass along with a full 3 inch exhaust.

Thanks the garages that work on my car get all the credit. Nope you're not the only one. I'm getting there.

I want to get my hand on the cayenne turbo turbine housings. so my turbo guy could have a fiddle with it.

lupo how big are the injectors that you got to put into your car?

I'm running (almost ) 550cc bosch 0 280 158 117 injectors with EV6 adapters. they are good up to 800hp at around 90% duty cycle.

Haha good eyes talk about love for the cayenne I don't know if it a good sign. Is it just me or if you don't have tuning done but had the intake install seem like its missing low end power a whole lot. They gear ****s seem a bit out of place like the car is relearning to some sort

I'm wondering if with stock maps the turbos are expecting more exhaust backpressure to spool the turbos.

My thought on this is since now the diverter valves vent into the 3inch piping that connected to the air filters now. Maybe it is venting out as if I were running regular bovs. Might be the causes of the lost of low end power.

The cluster display now shows 4.3 km/l consumption now instead of 4.0 km/l on stock intake with k&n filters. Hmm .....
