Default Compressor rebuild kits for cheap
I haven't tried this but just ordered one for my girlfriends A8. I heard great things about the guy who makes these kits on the Audi Allroad forum where they rave about him. I may even get one as a Cayenne spare.

I just ordered one from him last week. The shipping was very fast. I haven't had a chance to install it yet but the instructions seem straight forward enough.

FWIW, the kit only includes the parts in the picture below. The rebuild kit from VW also includes the elbow fitting for the brown air line. The ECS kit, which is more expensive, comes with a lot more parts. It all depends on your needs.

Bringing up a post from the dead. I had been searching all over for a rebuild kit and it was discontinued everywhere I tried. Just came across this one and to my surprise, the link still works and it still seems to be legit. I just ordered one.

I just rebuilt the compressor and reinstalled everything, started the car and received "warning chassis system" compressor doesn't run. Does something need to be reset?
