Reviving an old thread, EPA is still hell bent on increasing Ethanol percentages and they're going to rise. Anyone have and more recent info on how to prep our 955's for an E85 world? Sounds like fuel pump. Would love to see a complete list come together, what it would take.

Three Wheelin'
What? Ethanol mixed with fuel (like it is today) and E85 are two very different things.
E10 = 10% ethanol. What you typically find in gas stations
E85 = 85% ethanol. Not nearly as common.
The EPA would never mandate that every car on the road spend thousands to retrofit their engine to accept E85.
Every car I've owned as gone over 200K miles, including my old air-cooled 911. Not once have I had a fuel issue attributed to ethanol. No buildup, no clogged injectors, no weird deposits anywhere. The guy that owned my 911 before me got gas where it was the cheapest. I get most of my gas at Costco, or whatever is convenient. My leak down numbers on that car where all in the 5-7% range.
Rest easy, my friend. EPA isn't going to run you off the road

From yesterday's news - you can rest easy - the corn lobby is losing some of its influence and there is no huge demand to increase above 10%. EPA just increase number of barrels that have to be blended but it is a decrease from what was originally proposed.
