Default 22'' Wheels, staggered or not.....

Do you guys use staggered wheels on your Cayennes, or the same size on all corners?

I see both options are availiable with aftermarket wheels...

And for tires, do you use the same as well? 285/30-22? Or different front and rear... ?

275/45-20 in all corner but staggered wheels. I would prefer to have some wider rear tires. I was looking at 275/40-20 front and 315/35-20 rear would set the car nicely. I my opinion.

I wonder if the traction control will be slightly miffed about a staggered setup. Since factory tune is all about same width on all corners.

I don't know of too many people, if any, who run staggered wheels. My 21's and 22's were both 10 inches wide rim-wise.

Mine had staggered tires when i bought it. Bad idea. It was a close match, but still caused thumping in first gear and traction control light flashing at slight cornering right after start-up. Bought two tires to have all four same and all the problems are gone.

So, basically same size wheels and tires for all 4 corners.

The 955 turbo S comes in standard trim with 9J on the front and 10J on the rear.

Yes - the same sized tires. It's a bit odd, really...

Yes, I agree....

On my x5 I was running 285 front and 325 rears. Looked very hot.

I'm running 22 x 9.5's in the front and 22 x 11's in the rear with 275's on all four corners.

Looks good, but not exactly what I was expecting. Also drives good also. no problems yet.

I wanted to do the 315 in the rears, but was told that in a 22 that would be to much weight for such a low profile tire.
