Again, I'm honored to have my own metaphor.
The Mezger will clearly be the Alpha dog. The GTS didn't cower too much when I pulled it in the garage. The 997.1 TT 6MT will be passed down one day. The GTS will be replaced in a few years.
I'm tired. You guys win. Enjoy your P!gs and your P!g pen.

Come on now; you have nothing to prove and there's no battle to win or lose here.
This subforum might be hard to understand for people that don't particularly relish focusing on the lighter side of life but, that doesn't mean what you think it does..
Enjoy the new car in good health. Relax and try to have some fun.

I'll take 'HINTS' for $500, Alex.
1) People on a Porsche forum own cars, some are even Porsches.
2) No one is impressed with your car ownership, unless it's a 917 or some other rare exotic.
3) Only a retard would go to the P!g pen and talk about #2. We talk about our dopey trucks.
4) If you don't have a sense of humor, you might want to reconsider P!g ownership. (OK, this should be #1, but I just woke up.)
5) We're just some jerks on the internet (well, I'm a jerk on the internet). How could we ever bother you, regardless of what we say?
6) You will be missed as dearly as we miss old what's his name. You know, the guy that said something and then said he would leave. That one.
7) Even Jerry is welcomed back. Deep down we're a bunch of softies.

First off - welcome to the pig pen!
Second - your initial post is alittle goofy so don't be surprised about some of the responses. Unfortunately, I can't add much to your discussion as my GTS is the old '10 model and I have never driven an X5. I have only ever admired the size tires they can fit on the rear of those trucks. I have never driven a newer model GTS but if the seats are anywhere close to the old GTS, they have limited my max driving distance to about 4 hours. The seating surfaces are simply too hard for me to describe them as comfortable for long distance driving.
If I had to replace my old GTS with another car, I'd jump on the new GTS. I bet the power and sound are incredible and I like the sportier look - FWIW. Good luck with your new car!

Welcome to the P!g Pen? How about "goodbye from the P!g Pen"
Newbie with an attitude and no sense of humor? No thanks.
