If so, then that cable runs from the back of the Chinese head unit to the rear cargo compartment and plugs into the speaker harness connector (I am assuming the Bose amp is removed at that time).
Without getting a shovel and heading to the cemetery to ask Larry, at first glance it should work.

Just out of morbid curiosity (like slowing down to stare at an accident), are you replacing a CDR23 or PCM in your P!g ?

And since its your first post, welcome to the P!g Pen, blah, blah, blah ....
The instructions for the plugs are as follows(copied from the eBay listing)"Please connect the speaker plug which you pull out from amplifier with our 3 meter speaker plug directly . After that ,there is some idle lines in the end of 3 meter long speaker plug, please connect these speaker cables to the speaker cables of our power plug one by one . In the end ,you can bypass your amplifier and use our built-in 4*45W amplifier ."

Thanks for the Welcome!

The max budget that I'm aiming for is $1100. If there's a solution that's plug n play, that would be Perfect!

Thanks for confirming what I thought they did.
Larry did a good job teaching me all that Bose electronics stuff ...

The Parts are in and here they are. Where's the factory amp located? I was going to do it as a DIY project and having second thought. I did this same project in my Benz C class, but i'm thinking this one will be a lot more time consuming with the Bose system. This is going into a 2008 Porsche Cayenne...any advice is appreciated

Koolertron? Methinks it didn't quite come out the way the guy in the meeting explained it in Mandarin. At least we know they don't waste a lot of money on marketing focus groups.

It would be worth a shot for $600. I hope it works for you. I would be worried I wouldnt be able to get it back together if it didnt work haha

OK, Got it installed! I decided to take it to a professional and I'm glad I did! The wire that was shipped to bypass amp was way too short(by 6 feet) and was configured incorrectly. It looks factory and if you configure the display correctly, you can make the text orange to match the factory fonts...but I don't too much like all the orange fonts...

Here's a pic of what's on my USB drive. They ran the USB cable & iPod connector to the glove box...so far I'm very pleased at the sound being that the amp was bypassed and it's using the built-in amp. The 2nd phase of the project will be having an amp installed.

I also purchased a backup camera and it works perfectly!

This one looks different from the one that has a very negative review in Amazon. How does it sound compared to the stock system? Does it have equalizer? How does the Bluetooth sound at both ends of the call? Did you lose the display in the Odometer area? How pleased are you with the overall system? Thanks.
