Hi guys - looking for a family ride and a buddy is selling his simply optioned, low mileage Cayenne S. having search around it seems a very reliable well made car except for some reported cooling issues, anything else i should look for? I love the car and I am sure it will do the job as a family car, but also thinking of having the option of towing my 997 to the track (open trailer). The car is plenty capable to tow (7,700lbs max) but everyone seems to highly recommend the air suspension for towing, this car does not have it, am I still ok?

You are fine for towing on steel springs. Air just helps with leveling and some comfort.

Check your trailer tongue weight for towing. You will be fine without air suspension. The car will tow an open trailer plus car just fine. I do it all the time.
