Default Cayenne and three kids

My dealership loaned a cayenne s while they are servicing my 996c4s. Never driven one before. It is amazing!

This car has me thinking. My wife never loved our mb r320 diesel. I think its a great family car for our three kids under 6. Turbo charged diesel with 400ft/lb torque and still gets 29 average on a ski trip. It seats 6 with captain chairs in the middle and folding third row. Driving the car puts you to sleep though.

Cayenne is a whole different animal. I am thinking about an o6 CTT or 08 gts. Is it masochistic to even think about three car seats in the back of a cayenne. Two boosters and one forward facing, would that even fit?

Damn the dealer for offering me a loaner.

I felt the same way when I took my CTT in for a service. They loan me a Panamera and I was sold and could never driver another sedan again. Damn them!

I think two boosters and carseat in middle could work.

Take a look at this.

It's a great solution, even a four seat option.

Two boosters and a carseat works but very frustrating putting the seat belts on for the boosters. Its very very tight therefore you hands will get scratched via the boosters. Also, if you do go with it, then ensure you have something to protect your leather in the back. A long rubber mat... possible. But this is a SUV I tell you, beautiful piece of art to drive....

Agreed. I ha to tilt the seats sideways to get to buckle the seat belts. It sucked. I was thinking about getting seat belt receptacle extenders from amazon so they would stick up from between boosters.

I really want to find a way to make it work. Love the P!Gs now.

btw - I have been seeing 08 CTT in the mid $30's.. I would skip the 2006 and target 08. Be sure to find one with PDCC and also know that the nav got updated for 2009. However it is hard to find a 2009 below mid 40's. A 2008 GTS and turbo are almost at parity price wise on the used market.

Not sure about 08; however my 2013 CD fits 2 boosters, and a latched forward seat too. The latch seat can only go on sides, no latch in middle. Plus, the middle seat belt is always down, so can be awkward to pull it up and fasten the belt, have to think ahead. However, just took the family to Florida, ages 2-4-6 and we had a nice comfy trip. So 3 can work, sometimes just a challenge to buckle the middle booster seat.
