I believe the GTS has those brakes too.

Seriously, they are almost surreal. What I didn't show in this picture was their width. The overall size is massive (that's what she said).

I've been around a lot of what have been regarded as "big brakes", Turbo 3.6 had the original "big reds", heck my GT3 Cup has big brakes, etc., but these things are in another league. Anyway, I posted as my subliminal suggestion to go Porsche over BMW. I own two BMWs right now myself, but there is no substitute...

I think the GTS has Turbo brakes, not the Turbo S brakes?

The GTS uses S brakes with red calipers. The rotors are the same as 955 Turbos too.
'09-'10 Turbo and Turbo S brakes are notably larger (2-piece rotors too).

Tim, if the 09-10 turbo brakes are larger does that mean they are the same as the Turbo S?

Yes. It's kind of confusing, but here are the (front) rotor sizes for comparison:
'03-'06 S/Turbo - 350mm
'06 Turbo S (and turbo power kit) - 380mm
'08-'10 S - 350mm
'08 Turbo - 368mm
'09-'10 Turbo/Turbo S (and '08 with turbo power kit) - 380mm

The '09-'10 Turbo use the same rotor and caliper (on the front) as the '06 Turbo S. The '08 Turbo has its own brakes that are bigger than the 955 turbo, but not as big as the '09 Turbo.

I wonder if the 368mm rotors are much cheaper than the 380mm ones. I also wonder about brake feel, fade and stopping distance between all the sizes.

Edit
ECS has these prices..
350mm $500/pr
368mm $600/pr
380mm $1250/pr

I have not looking into rears or pads.
