There is rarely a part you can never get for an old Porsche. You can technically still order a brand new body for a 944.($22k but available).

Just saying ;-)

As my favorite late night news anchor would say....Porsche Cayenne good SUV or the greatest SUV?

My vote is for the greatest! I've owned my 05 CTT for about 10 months now and I have loved every minute of it. My last car was a tuned 135i (twin turbo 6cyl) and before that a tuned 535i (also twin turbo 6cyl) with water/Meth injection, ++. I tow my 26 foot closed deck boat with Merc 300xs on the weekends with the CTT and its like its not even there. This is my first Porsche and I'm a VERY happy camper. I don't think you will regret a Cayenne.

Cole, I love your comparison of the CTT with the Dodge...I was actually considering a Dodge 2500 or Ford F250 as well but I decided to go CTT....I am so happy I did. I have been debating whether or not to put a tune on the CTT....you mentioned yours was tuned any chance you could confirm which tune you have? And are you happy with it? How is your fuel mileage with it?

I've got the Upsolute tune, upgraded plenum, APR R1 bpvs.

Have had it set up that way for awhile and have been pretty happy with it. Seemed very smooth.

Recently I've been getting a bit of part throttle hesitation, but might simply be poor winter fuel.

Very nice...The Upsolute tune is the most reasonably priced tune out there for Cayenne if I'm not mistaken. I ran an Upsolute "big turbo" tune years ago on a 2000 Passat 1.8T with oversized turbo (T3/T4) and injectors (among other things). The tune was excellent, I was really happy with it.

How did the tune impact your fuel economy in everyday driving? Also, does the tune change the way the car behaves under normal driving conditions...for example does it boost a lot easier under part throttle or anything like that? Or does it still drive pretty much normal unless you give it some serious throttle?

I'm a freak and tend to average 18.5mpg and don't drive like a nanny. Runs very smooth, drives pretty much normal, just pulls harder under boost.

Great...that's what I was hoping. For now I'm fine with the stock tune but down the road it's something I'm interested in doing.

BMWs? Very unusual ones apparently since they have V6's in them. Every 6 cylinder BMW I've owned (about 10 or so of them now..) is an inline 6..

Not a Cayenne vs. Dodge vid but a TDI vs DuraMax vid
