1- Michelin latitude hp, n spec
2- goodyear eagle ls2, n spec
3- conti extreme dw, not n spec
4- conti extreme dws, not n spec
275/45/19
Live in calif, so no snow requirement needed.
Ride comfort and low noise is primary concern.
Good mileage wear would be nice.
Price, not so important as this is my daily driver.

#3 or #4. The great majority of people who have the Extreme Contacts love'm. I do. Latitude - not so much (harder riding then the Conti, and wear rather fast.) Goodyear Eagle - haven't read the reviews on them so dunno, and haven't driven on them so dunno.

Tire rack and American tire co both gave Michelin the best rating for comfort and noise.
But, I still want to hear from others that have them on their own cars.

Check out the Sessanta. Great handling and quiet since fewer tread blocks. I've got them on my Cayman and will get them for the summer aftermarket wheels on the CD.

I'm sticking with my recommendation of the Conti DWS. I still believe it's the best tire I've ever had on the Cayenne. I've tried N-spec Conti SportContact 4x4, Hankook Ventus and the Conti DWS. I run Michelin winter tires, and they are fantastic for that application. I'm sure their summer tires are great too for the Cayenne. Michelin PilotSport PS2s are actually my preferred tire for the C4S.

Dealer and tire rack and Americas tire co all recommend the Michelin tour hp as the best. However, the dealer thought that a Michelin sport tire would be even more comfortable and quieter due to softer compound and tread design. Trade off is faster wear rate. Decisions, decisions...

X2 on MPS for small sports and performance sedans. Loved mine. I'd stay with an all season/weather tire if I needed it but in TX you don't. Yokos here I come. Today is the day.

..Funny, it looks like I'm still "alone" using Vredestein Ultra Sessanta !
And still : 315 on rear and 275 on the front (on 9x20 front, and 10x20 rear)
Now, about 100k miles on the odometer, i.e.: 20k on Michelin Diamaris, ..and 4x 20k on Vreds !
And I can tell you ..the next ones are going to be the Vreds again.
Perfect under the rain, less noise than the Diamaris and less "tracking". Perfect for California, but true, I'm not going into the snow with them !

I went from the Michelin latitudes to the conti dws. The dws seems to have a cushier ride. My latitudes were pretty worn and gave a hard ride but they still gripped really well with barely any tread left on them.
