Took delivery of my Porker yesterday OINK OINK
So my day started out around 9:45AM when I was woken up by my phone ringing. The man on the other line advise he is with the transport company and my 2005 CTT is ready to be picked up around the corner. I was still half asleep and puzzled, felt as if I was having a dream.
I then realized I wasn't dreaming and jolted out of bed and ran to brush my teeth. Made the wife jump in the car and take me to my new affair. As I got there I still couldn't believe what I was getting. I am sure I looked like a 5 year old boy on Christmas morning.
I did a walk thru to make sure there wasnt any injuries before I paid the delivery driver. It was in MINT condition... I hop in it and knew I was about to feel my first pain of P!G ownership... gas is low.......
It gave me an excuse to drive to that gas station... I drove it like a old lady just because I was not used to the car yet. I got to the gas station and fueled her up, she was a thirsty little piglet... All I can see in front of my eyes was $$$$ cha ching cha ching cha ching..
I got back in the car after I just burned a hole in my wallet.. I looked down and what do I see... SPORT MODE... I pulled out of the gas station and the rest was history.. I dont actually remember seeing anything but the road in front of me and the puff of smoke I left behind... I knew I should of brought another pair of undies with me..
Anyways I get home and start admiring her and learning the inside and out of the car.. The only modification the seller was a chip. He has owned it the last 3 years and never did anything to it. This was all done by previous owner. I am still trying to track down the original owner to find out it was exactly.
Today I go out and fiddle around in the trunk and pull out the cover on the right side.. I saw a bunch of wires, tapped, and crimp wires.. I started to scratch my head a light bulb appeared.. Could this me a lowering module I was planning on ordering I thought to myself.. Well apparently it is.. no wonder I thought the car sat lower then other cayennes I have seen. Unforunately there is no label on the box or anything so I don't know who made it.
Here is a picture of my new love..
2005 CTT with 64k Miles.. Cardan shaft replaced last year and also updated Coolant pipes..

Congrats. Looks great, especially the white with the black rims
Great write up. I know the first time I put the car in sport mode, and floored it on the highway, all I could remember was yelling " Holy Sh*t!!!" and laughing like a little kid.
Enjoy every second of it. It is very thirsty but well worth it. (I get about 14-15 mpg in the city!)

Congrats!
What's that jealous looking SUV in the corner, looks like an ML at first glance, but probably isn't!
Keep them apart at night, wouldn't want a mysterious hand break failure all over your shiny white fender

Do the turbos have an actual sport mode button (not talking about air suspension settings)? For me "sport mode" is turning off PSM. BTW, that pig looks awesome!

All 957s have an actual Sport button (to the left of the PDCC buttons), which changes mapping from economy to performance (quicker throttle response, maximum torque). It also opens the valves on the Porsche Sport Exhaust (if equipped).
