How many Cayenne owners also have a 928?
I feel like every post I see in these forums now is by someone with a 928 in their avatar, signature, etc
Seems to be a trend
I have a CTT and a 928S4 (and some other Porsche)
So who has that magical 928 + Cayenne combo?

Well the 928S4 is only 316HP stock, with a 4 speed auto. The power to weight ratio is about 11.3/1.
My CTT is about 530HP with a 6 speed auto. The P/W is about 9.8/1.
As long as we are at it.
My 951 is about 370hp and a 5 speed manual which puts the PW at about 7.8/1
Of course all the cars have a different power band. The 951 is pretty narrow, the 955 is pretty broad.
(I may as well finish out the estimated math while I'm at it)
Audi S6 11.6/1

I do not have a 928, but I do have a 07 Cayman as well as a 06 Cayenne Turbo S.
My dream is to get a 911 GT3 or GT3 RS to add to my garage.
It seems like a lot of people here have more than one Porsche. Talk about brand loyalty!

Our experience with the 996 (other than we were wait listed for 2 years) is the main reason I raised my budget to consider the base model and then further raised it for the diesel. If it wasn't for the 996, I'd already be driving an X5d (for the same reason too).

928s4 for about 8 years. Fell in love with them in the late 70's, still remember seeing my first one here in Oz!
Like most 928ers, you either love em or have never been in one, ( a good one that is), they are a great car still today, and feel very modern still.
Mines a keeper too.
Now perusing per 74 911 to offset CD depreciation!

I will likely be on the hunt for '06 or '08 Cayenne S early next year.
I'm too tall and long-legged for the 911s anyway.
The 928 was always misunderstood IMO. Amazing road trip car. It was not designed to be a stoplight racer, until Porsche finally changed the gearing very, very late in its life.

I would love to add a nice 928 to the stable but I would need another garage first. I think the 928 is one of the original true GT (Grand Touring) cars.
I did make due with a 968 for a while though.
