I'm pretty sure that came standard on '06 Turbo S models. I custom-ordered mine, and I don't recall specifying wheels or center caps. 20" staggered sport techno with full-color center caps is what arrived.

To OP, did you get your 06 Turbo S yet?

As for the color center caps, I am not sure if that comes standard...seems like Porsche charges for that. I have seen 2011 911 Turbos that have non-colored center Porsche wheel caps...

Yes, the TDT 5W40 is a really good oil for these cars, especially as they age. It's the only oil I will use on mine. I get it on Amazon. Enjoy the turbo!!

The 2006 Turbo S arrived last week -- WOW, cannot believe it. The Turbo S is so much fun to drive I cannot believe it is an SUV! The acceleration is explosive and brakes are absolutely fantastic. It was $47K certified -- not bad. Options are modest, mainly XM radio, wood package, moonroof, 4 zone A/C and trailer hitch. Exterior is titanium and interior is beige. Just checked fuel mileage and was 12.7 in city driving, compared to my 2004 S, which got around 13.4, so only a slight difference there. Only issue so far is TPMS incorrectly telling me I need to add 2 psi of "tyre" pressure -- probably a bad sensor. Anyone considering a Turbo S I would say go for it!

Regards,

Gulf-Porsche # 21

Congrats! Picked one up 2 weeks ago. Same price: black on black, carbon fiber interior upgrade with a panoramic view. I needed to have a hitch installed (1.7K$$$) but was given a break on Pirelli now/ice tires ($500 installed). The pig had 17,800 mi. What a blast compared to my '10 BMW X5 3.0. I second the motion: if there is an opportunity to grab one of the turbo s, go for it!

Wow, black on black with carbon fiber, panoramic moonroof and only 17K miles! Congrats to you also, your Turbo S sounds like a real head turner. I rarely see ones with carbon fiber and panoramic moonroof. Living in MN you should be able to drive around nicely with snow tires and AWD. Here in Charlotte, we do not get too much snow. Please post a picuure if you can.

I agree, my Turbo S is a blast to drive. Love driving it every time

I have the same problem with my TPMS, but I just shut it off completely because it got too annoying. I'm not so lazy to not just check it manually.

Again, congrats on the Turbo S and enjoy every second of it!

I've had that TPMS issue since I got it about (almost) 2 yrs ago.. i just turn it off.

Mostly (a) garage queen (drinks to much gas and oil haha) but always a blast to drive.

Congrats on the new ride.

Guys, I'm looking to sell my 2006 Turbo S if anyone is interested. It is black on black smooth leather.
40k miles. All maintenance is up to date. I hate to part ways with it but with 3 kids 6 and under, the cayenne doesn't do me any justice.

I have all original documents, manuals, service records and window sticker. I'm pretty sure it has all options with the exception of the pano roof.

The only issues are tires are near 25% tread remaining and rear hatch struts are getting weak and will need replacing in the near future.

Rennlist rules require a price. Some pictures would be helpful, too.
