Performance chip for the 3.2 V-6?

Technically it is an SUV, and yes it does. That's a great attitude as long as you can accept that your place will be behind me, in your "sportscar". And when the curves come you might be able to pass the Trackhawk that's been following me too.

Besides, the original poster has a V6, same as mine, and there is no practical way to turn it into a high performance Cayenne, short of selling/trading it for an S or Turbo. It is what it is — an SUV that drives well.

Yes, 4700 lbs of nice truck, with a real transfer case. Our 997 is an actual sports car. Got the Cayenne afterwards, after testing many SUV brands. Base V6, love it as much as anything I ever owned.

If your SUV can pull better than about 4 seconds to 60mph, than you do deserve praise. However, it's just not the same thing as driving a Porsche GT car.

Would surely be much much cheaper and easier than building the v8 and there is plenty of support. I'm a dreamer

Hi all,
I am an owner of a 2004 Cayenne base model 3.2 (6-speed). it's a great car as I use it mainly for my weekly long distance business trip. I have to drive about 250km (500km round trip) weekly for work once a week. The car is now at about 160,000km on the dial and everything still runs very well. It's been very reliable and I honestly haven't had too many problem.
I want to see if it's possible to swap the 3.2 engine to the 4.5 engine of the same generation to give it a more powerful engine. I honestly have no compliant of the car and I love it so much but just want a bit more power to enjoy my weekly drive.
Any suggestion is welcome.
Cheers
Eric

If you haven't tried turning PSM off once the engine is warm, that usually makes a Cayenne a lot more responsive.
