Offroading my CTT and need 17s and all terrain tires to fit....
Title says it all.......too bad the ridiculously cheap take-off Cayenne 17s don't clear the bigger calipers. What can I do to retain a Porsche wheel and offroad tire when I don't want to run my 20" wheels and low profile tires in the mud and thorns?

why... 18's my friend. Since the stock cayenne tire diameter is around 29".. I would go 18" wheels and about 30-31" diameter. I went from 29" stock wheels on my ML to about 30.5" AT tires and LOVE the go anywhere ability. The extra tire makes a huge difference. Its still FINE on the road too. One thing to keep in mind is watch the weights. Some ATs are way heavier than others. I ended up loving my yokohama geolandar ATS's. I will be doing something along these lines with the cayenne at some point too.

OK as long as they clear the 350mm calipers I'm cool.

18's will not fit a 09 TT. Found out the hard way.

18s will fit a CTT 04-06 I am 100% positive on that. I have set of oem 18s that are a little beat up and perfect for offroading that I'll sell you for cheap. and when i say cheap, were talking $300 for the set of 4.

I have a set of 2011 18" Cayenne S III wheels on my 2010 Cayenne GTS. They fit perfect, no interference with the Red calipers and the 2011 TPMS sensors work as well!
Bought them as a set of new-takeoff's (rims, tires, TPMS & colored badges all for less than $1k) to use in the wet, snowy winters going up to our vacation home on the Oregon coast. The stock 21's just have summer-only tires on them.

IIRC, you must manually raise the suspension unless you come to a near complete stop. The extra could cause rubbing when at the lower stetting and high steering angles.
