Default 2004 Turbo - Thanks Ren-Dudes for the help!

After lots of help from you guys, I've decided to pick up this 2004 Turbo with only 60k miles for $24,000 all in.

I don't think the coolant pipes have been replaced. I might also want to install an iPhone connection.

Any idea how much I might be looking to spend for either?

Also, the deal is going through this weekend. In the meantime, I'm having all the service records sent over to me. Any other advice? Should I actually bring the car into a mechanic and have it checked out?

Your going to love it! Glad you went with the turbo over the S, I think you made an excellent choice. I like mine a lot more then I expected to.

Thanks Calvin! I'm really excited as well... almost nervous to be driving such a beast in a few days.

Coolant pipes are probably $1,500 - $2,000 at an Indy... $2,500+ at a dealer... maybe $600 in parts and beer as a DIY (plus a long weekend).

No idea on iPhone. I'm curious too.

On a 2004 car, an iPhone connection will only be possible with an aftermarket product like Mobridge. Even with that, you'll need to have a head unit that has the "telephone prep" option. It will have telephone buttons on the head unit if you have the option. If you don't, then you're SOL.

I'm going to install an aftermarket Pioneer Head Unit. The PCM 2.0 really feels dated anyways.
