Default Checked fuses what next???

Guys i have lost all functions on my steering wheel, radio, tiptronic, illumination etc, wipers and indicators on stalks all work fine, tiptronic works on the shifter etc. ok i have searched and checked left side fuses 8,33,44,53 all seem fine what else controls all functions to the steering wheel. no electrical work etc had been carried out prior to loosing these functions???

Sounds like the CAN bus is down, can you hook up a durametric to get error codes ?

Not at present live on an island no dealers here! Ok if the can bus is down how is that fixed?

You might want to try posting on RENNTECH.ORG, Loren may have diagnostic procedures

How old is the battery ? if its over 4 then low volts has been known to cause all sorts of funky things

i dont know how old the battery is, but the car was left for 2\3 weeks standing, then it started fine but the fault was noticed then, its been used every day for a while now if it was low volts wouldnt it sort itself out as it charged the battery again? Thanks for your help!!

I would try another battery before you start down a more expensive path
