Audi RS6 touing vs Cayenne
I realise this is not quite a fair comparison, but given a choice (money not an issue), which would you choose? For my money, I'd have to say the Audi would be my first choice.

At Le Mans 2002, myself and a couple of buddies had one of Audi AG's RS6 wagons for over an hour. On both secondary roads and the French autobahn, boy-O-boy could it scoot.... there in lies the similarities with the Cayenne Turbo; TORQUE! Read thirsty too, as that's to be expected. Both of these vehicles are $expensive$, heavy and the dynamics are relative. I would venture to say the CG of the Cayenne SUV is higher than most, Avants / Touring / Kombi or station wagons.
As far as SUV's go, I offer this. "Ya can't shine a sneaker" the Porsche SUV included.

I'd go with the Audi. I don't like the idea of the Cayenne. To me, it seems like two opposites put together... like combining a rollerblade with a moccasin or something.
BTW, nice album DJF1.

I must say that I kind of liked the Cayenne. It felt nice and it is comfy BUT still an SUV. No matter how many ponnies and suspension gimmicks it is still an SUV. Porsche says that the Cayenne was built to retain Porsche customers when they need a family car instead of moving to another brand. Porsche should have built an RS6 type of family car. Then I would be drooling...
BTW 911 thanks for the compliments!

The RS6 sedan which will shortly be available here in the US is in the $85k+ range. The wagon version is not presently expected to be imported by Audi US. Go figure?
