Photoshop is fun. The first thing I did when we got the offical photos was to give it a big lift with solid front axles. Just like my Jeep XJ. looked pretty good too. My boss wasn't impressed though.

omg fla951.... the real cayenne is horrendous enough. rofl... actually i find that quite entertaining. i wonder what my 944 would look like with a bed... i suppose i could always take out the rear glass and haul mulch... <img src="graemlins/c.gif" border="0" alt="[ouch]" />

Nice work, FF, I like it! I don't think you will have to wait too long. The reason the factory isn't starting w/ such a version is that new models are aimed at "the fat part of the bell curve". Recall that the 911 came out in '65, the 911S wasn't released until '67. This is a pattern oft repeated - Turbos, Widebody, BoxsterS, etc. You can be assured someone (you?) in the avant garde will soon place an order along the lines you depict. That is a role Ruf, Gemballa, Techart & "Special Wishes" have performed for Porsche in the past.

Kevin,
only problem is that this damn thing (Cayenne) is so big!
If/when Porsche had to do something else than a sportscar, they should've done something smaller, (like VW Golf or maybe a bit bigger), like family sedan, not SUV, with lowering & better wheels, you could easily achieve this:
That kind of thing Porsche could still call a sports sedan or something, which would be at least a little bit closer what I think Porsche should be, there just ain't nothing Porsche in SUV.

FF -
Very nice...now that is starting to look like the cross-over estate I've been bitching about! I like the allroad touches and the 911 snout - without those catfish tentacles we see on the Chilli-pepper photos.
Hey Freddie the Fender would that have been so difficult? Why did you decide that it needed to be first - an SUV, and second - to be an ugly SUV?
