Default Bose audio settings

what are the best audio settings for the Bose surround sound?
2006 cayenne
-bass?
-treble
-balance?
-fade?
Or just leave on factory settings?
I don't like the heavy bass beating.....

A very personal question and one that mainly depends on the type of music that you listen to. This one is better left to Larry....

Just click around through all the buttons and get to know the system.. Play your favorite music and fiddle with the settings until it sounds best to you.

I'd strongly suggest turning the bose surround sound off - it just muddies up the sound. Depending on the source - I run different numbers on bass/treble. I leave the balance and front-rear fader adjustment in neutral position (0).. Luckily - you can set the tone controls differently for different sources.

IMO, I'm glad auto manufacturers are staying away from Bose. I'm especially glad that Bowers & Wilkins have entered the automotive arena with Jaguar. Who says I can only enjoy B&W's at home?!

It's because of B&W and Jaguar that I've started looking at Jags!

Agreed, I move the fade a little towards the front.
