Question Anyone with Tequipment Sports Tailpipes?

Has anyone the Tequipment Sports Tailpipes on his Cayenne (or seen/heard them on the street)?

How do they look and sound?

These tips don't change the sound.
They are BIG!

When you want to install these on the "S" you need to change the rear valance to the one of the Turbo that has the bigger cut-outs for the exhaust tips.

Here is a photo that I took during the installation :

I got them and they make a nice difference (visually only of course).

They are BIG!

I didn't realize it was so much work to install them!

I assume these are only for the TT, but maybe not?

Only when installed on the "S" you need to change the rear valance.

What exactly was involved in removing the bumper? How is the valance attached to the bumper? Any tips in removal would be appreciated.

Also what was involved in installing the dual tips?

Gert, thanks for the info. Do you have any idea of the cost for the rear valance replacement?

DanP, is there a chance that you could post a pic of the back of your car?

DanP,

That's very kind of you. I would prefer two shots similar to these two of my car:

<a href="http://gallery.rennlist.com/cayennegallery/Matts_Pepper/aan" target="_blank">Pic 1</a>
<a href="http://gallery.rennlist.com/cayennegallery/Matts_Pepper/aaj" target="_blank">Pic 2</a>

This would make it possible to compare and decide.
Thanks again very much.

Matt, I took the pictures then remembered that I haven't taken the time to figure out how to post them.

If you PM me an e-mail address I'll send them to you.

BTW, nice background to your pics, where in Switzerland are you at? I was lucky enough to live in Geneva & Gstaad for about 6 years some time ago.

Perfect place to enjoy a Cayenne!

Dan,

I live in the eastern part of Switzerland, surrounded by mountains. It is endeed the place to enjoy a Cayenne. However, I haven't done any serious offroading yet.

You've got an PM with my email address. Thanks very much for taking the pics.

The rear valance is attached to the bumper by clips and 3 screws on each side.
The tips are connected to the exhaust by clamping sleeves.

Matt, sent you the pics. Sorry they are not great, was raining all day and the TT hasn't been washed in a while.

They do look great in person!

Oh, and my German skills are pretty gone by now, but after a few beers somehow they seem to come back. &lt;g&gt;
