So an odd observation:
While cycling through the SOUND options (Bass, Treble etc), I no longer had the AP'' option but something called GAL'' - on or off....
After 32 cycles and 4 days with no sound it fired up and the 'GAL'option was gone and "AP "returned
It was booting in a different config???
Either way I'm probably due a software update - anyone have a link to the file and how I install it?

So that didn't last long..
Apparently 'GAL'is the euro equivalent of AP , so I am booting in the wrong mode 98% of the time.
Any chance this was 'reset'at the time the engine work was done?
Will a software update fix this?
thanks

AP = Audio Pilot. Bose DSP algorithm that uses the cabin microphone and adjusts EQ dynamically to compensate for cabin (road noise)
GAL ... Basically no different that Speed Dependent Volume. Heady it receives a CAN based engine RPM/speedo message and just adjusts volume automatically.
Yes, you are suffering from a configuration error somewhere in the system.
Stop picking at it otherwise it will never heal.

Few weeks later and 99.8% of the time I have no audio and the amp boots up in the wrong mode
No one has any ideas on how to reset it?
Fuses have been pulled etc etc
Is my only option a new amp? Seems like a waste since the hardware is ok - the software is failing
