Default Who's got the most options on his/her 955 or 957 p!g?

Thought this might be a fun, light, interesting topic to play around with. My options are in my sig. The option I really wish I had is pano roof and I would have preferred a manual tranny over the tip (probably - haven't actually driven a manual p!g but I'm guessing I would have liked it better as I prefer rowing my own gears when I can). Other than that I'm pretty happy with what I got for a pre-owned. My '08 GTS stickered for $96.6K new. I think I've only seen one other (one other GTS that is; I know the turbos are considerably more) with a sticker higher than that, but I'm sure they're out there!

So how about you?...

OK, I'd like to play....

My 2004 Cayenne S cost $170,050 in 2004 (Aussie dollar currently close to parity with US dollar). That's with $39,970 worth of options:

20" Techno Alloys
Air Suspension
Bose Sound System with CD Changer
Park Assist
Sat Nav
Multi Function Steering Wheel (Tiptronic)
Soft close tailgate
Driver memory package
Compass
Front skid plate
Side steps
Roof rail system
Servotronic Power Steering
Metallic paint
Sunroof
Mats

I'm glad the PO took the depreciation hit for me on this one!!

And here's a breakdown of the $170,050.....

Sale Price - $118,915
Options - $39,970
Dealer Charges - $3,450
Stamp Duty - $7,216
Registration - $576
Compulsory insurance - $373
TOTAL - $170,050

So sale price with options only = $158,885 which is still eye watering....

My sentiments exactly - I ended up paying a bit over $50K for mine w/19,000 miles on it. BTW - what's a "soft close tailgate"? Is that different from my regular old electric open/close tailgate? I.e. is soft close something in addition to the electric feature that makes it close more softly? If so I want that too!

Soft close tailgate is a strange option! I only have to gentlely close my tailgate and it gets "sucked in" electronically the rest of the way. I didn't even realise it was an option until I read the sales invoice!

OK - I understand. I've seen some BMWs & Mercedes with soft close doors that do that. So I'm guessing your tailgate isn't electric open/close then? Or perhaps it pops open electrically but doesn't lift up all the way? Or do you have both electric open/close and soft close?

No, my tailgate does not open up electronically all the way which is standard on all 1st generation Cayennes. It only pops open or you can use the key to pop open the hatch window.

.....although, the hatch did use to close by itself once upon a time.....when I had failing hatch struts.....often on my head.....

Thanks for the info. It would be nice to have both though but I don't think both were ever available together. I just wish my tailgate wouldn't close so hard. I know the Panamera's tailgate closes very nicely - wish mine was like that...

I'm more curious how many Cayenne owners have the "928 Option" parked next to it.

Seems to be a lot of 928 owners also have a Cayenne.

As for my 04 Turbo. Its fairly lightly optioned for a Turbo.

All the standard Turbo options +
Soft touch tail gate
Dual battery
Bose with sub.
Keyless entry and drive.
Tow package'

...and probably a bunch of stuff I'm forgetting.

No but the dealer would fill it up for you for $9.35 a gallon.
