Default Chinese Knockoff PCM3

Anyone see this yet?


Says it can connect to the fiber port, as well as have a can-bus connection for $50 extra.

Its made to look like the PCM 3, WinCE 6.0

I can not tell if that blue port is fiber or not.

Blue is the fuse.. Don't see any MOST ports.

Looks interesting but how much faith would you have in its reliability? Also, what about stuff that the OEM one does such as setting tire type/size, resetting TPMS, etc...?

It may or may not be classified as a "knock-off." There are two major companies that make these "OEM compatible" DVD navs, Hualingan or Dynavin. I believe both have been "tested" by X5 owners when interfacting to the OEM components and most have been happy.

so your saying they came up with the firmware load all by themselves. I find that very far fetched

Not saying anything one way or another, just that it's available and other non-porsche owners have had somewhat good experience with the products.
