Non Starter !
Can any one help guys ?
Went to go out this evening and she tuns over with a healthy normal crank but never fires. No warnings, everything else is as per normal. Put a proper battery tester on the battery and it tested good. Also tried cranking with a heavy duty porotable jump start (rated for 6 litre engines) but to no avai. She just cranks and cranks. Only other thing i noticed is that one time I got a low oil pressure light which seems even more odd !
The only thing I can say is that:
1. Theres been a lot of rain here since i started it this morning.
2. When i last started it, i only moved it 2 metres further up the driveway and then got out and i have heard that this can be a problem for some cars ?
Cheers, Rich

The start/move/shutdown leaves a VERY rich mixture in the intake, and next time you go to start it, this mixture combined with another dose of rich mixture (cold start mixture) is enough to flood the engine ("dampen the sparkers" as they say..) As you found - fully open throttle gives it enough air to ignite the rich mixture.
