Somebody talk me out of a Q7 please!

I drive an 08 GTS, my best buddy drives a 10 Q7 TDi. Both of us use them as daily drivers and for towing race cars. I have spent much time behind the wheel of both. I prefer the feel, sound, appearance (to me the Audi is hideous) and performance of the Porsche however the fuel consumption sucks and the Audi is much more spacious, better equipped and way cheaper. For a 20 or 30K saving over a Cayenne my next tow vehicle will definately be the Audi. The Porsche is better in some respects but simply not better enough.
PS I have been driving a cayenne since 04 (this is my second and between them I have travelled 150k miles - mostly towing). My buddy is into his second Q7. Neither of us have had any significant issues with either.

LOL you guys sure have your ways to make this an interesting discussion. And I do agree with a lot of points that were brought up.
We're looking at new, and the price difference is pretty drastic.
There seems to be a bit more Q7 choices compared to Cayenne locally, so I guess I need to work a bit harder to find a suitable Cayenne without having to wait 4 months for one.
BTW nice Spitfire!

Remember a few years back, when the Evil Dr. W was ruining ... sorry ... running Porsche into the ground .... sorry .... into the future of continued independent status?
100k vehicles a year, no matter what.
You couldn't swing a dead cat without hitting a dozen P!gs on your local dealer's lot.
4 month wait for a P!g ? You've got to be kidding..

While I haven't been to any Audi dealers yet, there seems to be more 911/Boxter/Cayman than Cayenne at all the nearby Porsche dealers. Most of them loaded to the wazoo with stuff we'll never use. We were basically told if we wanted specific options, order one and wait 4 months.
