It could also easily be argued that since the "dawn of time," there is VW DNA in nearly every Porsche platform.

Jill, if you are reading this, I am only a few pages into your 235 page dissertation (I purchased it), but I think I'd speak for everyone when I say that we'd love for you to reveal yourself in order to start a healthy, objective, fair and honest (pretty much what we do here every day) discussion of your article.

What say you?

I won't dispute that. But we were talking about the Cayenne versus Touareg specifically (at least I was), and to imply that it's a VW design with a Porsche badge is a misrepresentation, IMO.

Jill doesn't really exist.
It was actually Larry who wrote the article shortly before his death.

Excuse me Jill, but on page 69, I have never owned a 944.
I did own a 968 Cabriolet, which is not a 944.

(also, the 996 is actually a 996 Turbo and the 964 is a 964 Cup Car.)

Also, I never owned a Cayenne. I can refer you to PCNA Legal if you want confirmation.

Unfortunately for Jill, Divot Enterprises has a monopoly on t-shirt distribution. Plus, she clearly stated in her thesis that she would not be a participant, merely an observer/lurker, so as not to contaminate the natural habitat, unlike that busybody Jane Goodall.

This dopey broad found a need in her thesis to define Yuppy - young urban professional, blah, blah blah, (at least she got that one right) as well as Soccer Mom. Did you know that requirements for Soccer Mom status include upper-middle class or affluent? Or leaving behind a successful career? They only "often" are highly educated. This is the definition of a post-feminist sexist - "every woman is just like me, but a little different in career path." Are there no Soccer Moms that still have successful careers, or work part-time at WalMart, or never worked? Are there no middle class Soccer Moms? No. Jill projects that all soccer Moms attended Ivy League schools and will have successful careers waiting for them upon graduation. I understand her confusion as Mr. Mom is driving her kids to their activities, while the shrew tells him that he cannot be "that guy" that gets a chance to take a Porsche to pick up diapers one afternoon.

Jill, everyone knows what a Yuppy is, and everyone, except you and your ilk, knows what a Soccer Mom is. No t-shirt for you.

PS - If you ever have to define MILF, it should start with "women that look nothing like me."
