Oh, Divot Enterprises Human Resources has been notified that any resume or mention of "Simmons School of Management" is a red flag that prohibits consideration for employment.

I'm kind of upset that Jill didn't stick around to gather more data for the Cayenne study. I would have loved to see numerous references to "P!G" in the study

This, together with the Consumer Reports reliability rating, should put the 2011 P!G within my grasp sooner than expected so I can wallow in my yuppy, materialistic insecurities ..

So what? Porsche led the design team, the V8 is built in Zuffenhausen, and the suspension is exclusive to Porsche; ie the important parts. If the bodies are built in Hannover, and the comfort bits are supplied by VW suppliers, I don't care. Besides, Porsche has a long history of farming out carriage work to other vendors and it's not like the workers at VW are inferior in any event; I certainly don't see any reason to be a snob about the VW connection. It's the whole package I'm interested in and the Porsche version of the platform is the one that delivers for me.

^^^ IIRC, in the 60's when the two families broke apart and Louise Piech's family took control of VW/Audi and left Porsche to her brother, there was an agreement for Volkswagon to pay Porsche a small 'Royalty sum' for each car they produced for 20 years .. and that money is what Porsche used to further their motorsports programs and all the wins in LeMan's. Then there's the mutual product lines starting with the 914-6GT homologation agreement that led to the '69/'70 LeMan's victories and of course, the 924/944 lines that kept Porsche afloat during those recession years ... there's a long and successful precedent here and a symbiotic relationship that has allowed Porsche to pursue what we all hold dear. To belittle that in any way ... is a little foolish I think.

I didn't bother wasting my time to read the article, as I'm sure it is just BS, coming from some jealous writer who has never own a real performance car.
All Ferrari, Lambo, Bentley buyers are badge buyers. Who cares anyway. It is their money to spend.![Embarrassment](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/redface.gif)
CTT is the best SUV out there. I don't need the power, but I like to have it. If money can buy me happiness, I'll do it all day long.
There is nothing wrong with Moms driving kids to school in Cayenne V6 or S. They are great SUV, and inexpensive to buy.
