Love the car, almost 5k so far with trips to Wisconsin and New Mexico. Only previous Porsche was a Signal Orange 914 1971-78.

Nice. What engine did you order and what kind of mileage are you getting?

Default Ironically ... I have ANOTHER confession to make.

Ok, ... I've been reading about and looking at the leaked pictures of the new Cayenne Junior a.k.a. 'Cajun' (get it .. Ca[yenne] jun[ior] ... I just found that little secret out about the name, right? I thought they had just spent too much time in Zueffenhausen watching 'True Blood' .. but I'm sure it will be affectionately known as 'P!GLETT' around here ..
Anyways ... What do you guy's think about it? It's really not a warmed over Audi Q5 like many of the 'haters' say it is .. and it sounds like later they will offer it in a Turbo 'S' form with a Porsche V6 Twin Turbo .. you know, in coupe form, this could be just the car for me with the lowered CoG and better weight to HP ratios ... Here's a blurb from 'Car' magazine about it:

Here is an exclusive rundown of the two designated U.S. powerplants to start:

• 2.0 TFSI, 240bhp/258lb ft
• 3.0 TFSI V6, 292bhp/295lb ft

In addition, there is a Cajun Turbo S in the works. It features Porsche's own twin-turbo 3.0-litre V6 rated at 350bhp. Also in the making is a Cajun Hybrid fitted with the same 211bhp four-cylinder-plus-47bhp-electric-motor kit as the Q5.

Porsche-specific tweaks include the Sport Chrono pack with launch control, stronger brakes with optional carbon-ceramic discs, wheels/tyres and the complete exhaust system including a switchable free-flow sports muffler.

v6. Around town which is mixed freeway driving it seems to get 21-22. On the interstate 22-24 at 70-80. Better than the figures on the sticker. Its nice to go
over 550 miles before the red light comes on. According to the gauge the oil
is still at the top mark, who knows?

Wow, those are great numbers considering, and from what I've read, the V6 doesn't have an oil 'drinking' problem ..

No, that engine (VW VR6 derivative) does not drink oil, nor does it spill its coolant.

Yes .. but now I'm wondering about the new Ca[yenne]jun[ior] I posted above with the twin turbo V6 .. sez it's a Porsche powerplant ..not a VW/Audi engine. ... do you think it will have a 'drinking problem' or leaky diapers? :

Morning, Pops. What's not to know? There's 1600 years of precedent, and I don't think I need explain .... besides, I think that butt is pretty cute on the lil' one .. something about the C Pillar angle and transition .. AND, the model badge delete. I REALLY like the historical reference to the single letter
P O R S C H E badge all by itself. That would have been a VERY classy look on the tail of your mount as well, don't you think? Seems like if you order Model Designation Delete on any of these new gen's that's what you would get now that I'm a-sparkin' here ..

BTW .. I keep reading that Divot quote and it's making me smile each time ... Is that wrong?

Yeah, I'm a funny guy.

Wait a second, I just turned sigs back on. The sweetest revenge is knowing that someone will be seen in public with someone else that has no pride and is a complete embarrassment.

Mandals with socks - check.
Members Only jacket - check.
Elastic waste jorts - check.
Wig-doo by Laverne - check
Pretend to be able to pay for stuff with Telly Savalas' Players Club card - check.
P!g - check.

I'm not Catholic (I think I've said that before) but isn't the correct title for the Pope "Your Eminence"? Is Eminem related??

So the obscure "jort" threw you for a curve, but the Telly Savalas' Players Card and Wig-doos by Laverne were mainstream?

I'll pay to have the nursing home give you some more raisins in your oatmeal.
