Ironically ... I have a confession to make.
As some of you are aware .. I have been doing P!G research for a while now and although I really can't afford a 'new' Cayenne, I'm continually drawn towards the conclusion that the newest generation of the beast is the best choice for several reasons. Of course, I can't afford what I WANT but that never seemed to stop me in the past .. so I've been fooling around on PCNA's configurator and I've come to a fairly disturbing point .. I think I want a YELLOW ONE!! Is that wrong?? The v6 configuration came to $84K+! and I thought I was being ... well ... conservative so .... I did a V8 in basically the same trim and it was only $4K more ..
Anyways .. I'd probably order the 20" Spyder wheels and have them painted black with a brushed edge ring and forgo the 21" Sports .. that would knock off $3K right there ... Basic black interior. Anthracite wood is the only 'treat' really, everything else is either performance, handling or hauling ..
I'm just a bit worried that I would get it home ... and one day I'd go out to the garage and think ... why didn't I get white?? What do you think? Am I crazy? I think it looks cool with the black accents .... I'd probably even go Speed Yellow deviated stitching if I could afford leather ...

BTW ... have any of you fine people actually SEEN sand yellow up close and personal? and seriously .... if you check bright black trim, why does the rear hatch still have that big strip of aluminum across the lower edge? They can't annodize that?? For $88 THOUSAND????

but how do I fit 610 pieces of €500 notes in there? (the ruf costs about €305 000)
to stay on topic, I've never seen a yellow cayenne. if I were you, I'd go with some more common color and have it wrapped in yellow vinyl. if you'll get fed up with it, you can easily have it removed anytime.

Ask and ye shall receive. Saw one as recently as 40 minutes ago and I would not consider getting that color. Ever. Despite the fact that it might match His Holiness' um, holy outfit:

So, no ... if I go yellow, I'm going all in. Wraps are a sure sign of character weakness ..

So, are you just a yellow hater or are you attracted to Speed Yellow or Bahama Yellow or any of the other Porsche Yellows of the past? ... and yes, it would look sweet with my off-white and gold brocade ... maybe I could get some yellow socks just for a little 'splash' when I get out ... :-)
