New Pig owner...First ownership initiation !!!!
New Pig owner...First ownership initiation !!!! Like Rob Budd a long time 928 owner.
As a long time Porsche owner I too have just purchaced an 2004 CS. Picked it up a few weeks ago am loving it. I traded my E500 benz and my old tow vehicle Range Rover. Trying to cobine the fleet!!..The CS is in great shape, owned by a prior PCA menber that traded it through a local VW dealer for the new Turbo Toureg.
I knew it still had the origonal coolant tubes but the price was fair that when they fail, Not if, It would be worth the $500.00 in parts as I do my own wrenching..
So what do you think happens when I am out at lunch from work yesterday.........Coolant warning and the smell of coolant..I guess I hace my next weekend planned out already !!!!!!
Initiation complete..........

It is generally cheaper to replace the tubes before the fail rather than after they fail.
You run the risk of having to replace the starter and rear seals in a post leak scenario.
But then again, it's just coolant under the bridge now in your case.
Welcome to the P!g Pen.
You are a rare minority ... Shark owner and now P!g owner as well.

Welcome aboard David! As Lewis mentioned, owning both a shark & a P!G does in fact put us in a minority group however, the love for V-8's keeps our passion sparkling!
You seem to have taken your coolant tube initiation quite well. Hopefully, you won't have any further major problems with your ride that may hamper your Cayenne "experience".

All manufacturers and models have issue and "quirks" some hit harder than others. Hey comming from the Land Rover word and working with Toyotas over the pas 20 years it may not be that bad !!
