Default WTB 05-06 Cayenne Turbo UPDATE Bought an 05 Turbo.

I'm looking for good winter transportation & something I can use to haul seats and dashboards between the two shops.

After considering many other SUVs, I decided a Pig is the way to go.

I go to a fair number of estate sales so navigation is important.

I'm open to suggestions, advice, etc.

Thanks

It was tough finding that color combo, most all were silver or titanium with black or gray interior.
It's got blue tooth and satellite radio.
The IE81 was a bonus. I hope I don't regret it. A 20K option that looks to have a lot of special order parts to it.

It'll be a couple weeks before it gets here.

Hey Rob, congrats on the P!G purchase! The E81 is truly a rare find and will be a real treat to drive.

On another note, there are more and more shark owners acquiring P!Gs than ever before! Maybe we should set up a poll on the 928 list?

Nice find, looks almost exactly to my '06 Turbo S and really it is almost the same car. Porsche claimed 500bhp for the E81 and 521bhp for the Turbo S but it has been found that all of the engine parts to include the ECU are the exact same part #'s so other than some minor trim & badge differences that the Turbo S got, and the fact they are '06 models, the hard parts basically make the E81 a Turbo S. Welcome to the world of outrageously prices front brake rotors too. The secondary cat bypasses are an easy install and good for around 15~20bhp increase. Now I'm thinking about the IPD intake plenum for another claimed 30bhp but probably more like 10~20bhp, but others have said it is noticeable but not cheap.

That may be a good idea. My initial though was to get a white Cayenne as a match to my 91 white s4. But black and white is a good too.

While searching for a Cayenne I don't think I've ever seen so many silver vehicles. It made me think of Henry Ford's ".... as long as its black" quote.

And the scams!!! In my search I ran into 3 of them. Two obvious, and one not so much. It makes me wonder how many people fall for them. I guess some do since the scammers are always out there.

??

I was referring to the folk who ads on cars they don't own. Very low prices on vehicles that are worth a lot more. Usually the info is taken from real ads and re-posted somewhere else. They look for some unwitting person to send a deposit or maybe the full payment.
