Default Dash squeak

My dash has recently started squeaking over bumps, seems to be around the Instrument cluster area. Anyone else have this issue or should I just set it on fire and be done? Dash is full leather if that makes any difference.

Thanks!

Marc, make sure that the squeak is not coming from the A-shaped mirror control housing just left of the instrument panel. Mine's already been repaired once and lately, it started to squeak again. The dealer usually lines the plastic contact points with self-adhesive backed felt plugs.

Another thing to check is the rubber seal that directs air into the door for delivery to the rear B-pillar vents. That rubber 'o-ring' was squeaking where it contacted the closed drivers door on mine. I cleaned it and the contact patch on the door up and put a coat of protectant on it and the squeak went away.

My 2011 Cayenne has the same squeek eminating from the instrument cowl. The dealer has already "fixed" it once but it will be going back in next week to be "repaired" a second time....along with the A/C thermostat software modification.

If your sure then another part it may be is the glove compartment door. The latch is suspect on your MY and a replacement mechanism is very low cost due to supplier quality problems.
