So I decided to install back the battery and all of a sudden the alarm was working fine for about 2 days when it started going off on its own again but this time randomly at night. When I tried arming and disarming, its back to the same old behavior of going off soon as I lock it...it really seems like a short somewhere..
or probably a bad module.

They replaced the rear comfort module on mine. It is back in the shop since it now beeps instead of alarm going off after locking the doors. I lost my soft close on my rear hatch. They could not get it program again.

If I could turn back time I would just gone into Porsche and bite the bullet.

So just wanted to give an update. I changed my battery which had tested good from advance auto and it seems that this has fixed the problem! after a few drives with the car the alarm system has not acted up since. I get 2 beeps and all doors are locked and armed. Hope this helps
