You're welcome to come and wave chicken bones over the dead 928 in my garage any time. And, FWIW: My '05 Cayenne has been trouble free (knock on wood!).

A dead 928 and a trouble-free Cayenne; Two extremely rare oddities....

Truly a senior moment! It must have been your bastardized spelling of the P-word.

The Cayenne would be warrantied. However, for the record, the Avatar is my 4th and current (and oldest) 928. I've owned 911's, 928's, S, SL, NSX, Vette's, 8 series and a 540 sport, to name a few. If you take care of them (as I do) they are quite solid and reliable. No complaints at all.

Expenses on all of my 928's have been on par with all others. About 1k a year on avg. The wives tale of 928's being a problem model is due to neglected cars being picked up cheap by unwitting buyers. The only real weak spot on 928's is the steering rack and hood, hatch shocks. (They need to be replaced 50% sooner than they should). Out of all the cars I've driven and owned, which includes a Lambo (driven on track -- not owned) - the 928 continues to be my absolute favorite of all time. The Cayenne would be for my wife, but as we drive her car for family activities - I do have a selfish motivation here. The car I want (for me) next is the 929 - whenever they make it.

Sweet928, only because you are a fellow 928-owner and deserve to get a logical and truthful response about the ''P!G'' term, I'll give you a hint: Look at the 928's instrument cluster and tell me what symbol you know that resides dead center and usually illuminates whenever there's a problem?
Thanks...I thought the 928 was the only model that has the !. Does a Cayenne have one too? (Luckily mine only lights when the E brake is pulled.)

Как обяснить?

идиомы схожи, но не совсем то же самое. Это может означать, что внешний вид скрывает врожденные характеристики. Это выглядит как дерьмо, но это сводит очень хорошо!

...and "P!g in a poke" works better in this forum than "Cat in sack"

яасно?

leases suck with porsche,

just buy a new 2011.. and break even with ease.

demand is really high on em, if you dont go stupid with options you'll find a buyer.

I am thinking of getting another cayenne since I bought the present 2011 I have now. Why do you think their leasing suck?

Because they are in high demand there are no deals. Dealer wants 6k out of pocket and 960 a month for 36 month lease with 15k miles a year. Base model with Nav, roof and heated seats. A comparably priced Land Rover or Benz is much less out of pocket and per month by many thousands.

The demand for this truck is so crazy. I visited Benz last week to obtain info on the new ML. Loaded you could have one for 60k, get this without xenon headlights. The GM told me xenon is not available till Feb or March of next year.
