Displaying Speed Limits on Map

Displaying Speed Limits on Map
I have a 2012 Cayenne V6 with PCM in Canada. I enabled the option to display the speed limits of the roads when you drive, but nothing shows up in the map screen. Even in the colour screen on the instrument cluster, it shows a little gray sign at the bottom left of the map screen but it only shows 3 dashed lines instead of numbers. Can anyone help? Why isn't it showing?

It sounds from your description like you have NAV as it's required to allow the speed limit function to work.
The function must be enabled in 2 places for it to show up in the multipurpose display in the instrument cluster. In the multpupose display select Settings, Display, PCM Display, and then Speed Limit. Then in the PCM itself select Map, Map View, and then Speed Limit.
If this doesn't resolve your issue, then I'm at a loss.

I've found that the speed limit info only shows up on certain major roads, like interstates, not on just any highway so don't know if that's part of your problem. I don't recall seeing the 3 dashed lines. Maybe I just haven't noticed but that sound odd.

I set mine up last night. On my '11 the speedometer icon with the three dotted lines under it is the cruise control speed setting. The display shows a little speed limit sign at the top indicating the speed limit. Works on most roads but not all. I'll try to attach a crummy cell phone pic.
