Default Price check - '09 GTS

Reaching out for some pricing help from you experts. Found an '09 GTS auto, 43K miles, black over black, good condition. Options include PDCC, panoramic sunroof, PCM with nav, Bose, bi-xenons, heated seats, park assist, and variable assist power steering.

It's been sitting for a while, was originally listed at $68K certified, but the dealer has slowly been dropping their asking price. Currently at $60K without the CPO. The fact that they took away the CPO option strikes me as odd, though they are offering to include it at extra cost.

What are your thoughts of offering $56K including CPO, or has this P!g dropped as far as it's going to?

I've already lost out on another well equipped GTS for only a couple of thousand, so I'm trying to find a balance between a good deal and just finally getting the thing!

Sounds a little high to me but then I haven't been shopping.

I think someone else just posted their new GTS and what they paid for it in the last couple of days. Search back a couple of pages, I'm sure you'll find it.

Good luck.

I think I am the one to whom Bill is referring...here's the thread:

https://rennlist.com/forums/porsche-...etic-club.html

I listed my options and price paid in the thread (post #15). Sounds like the two cars are similar but I don't have PDCC or the panoramic roof. My car is a CPO car, though. It has about 9,000 fewer miles than the one you are considering. So, considering the mileage, even though yours has a couple more pretty desirable options, $60K without CPO seems way high.

I would think the mileage offsets the value of the PDCC and panoramic roof and you shouldn't really pay more than $58K, maybe $60K and you should get the CPO warranty with that.

Paying $68K for that with CPO just means the "certified" in CPO stands for you being certified insane for paying it.

I think your $56K with CPO offer idea is good as a starting point with them.

it's been a month since looking for an MT GTS, but a quick cars.com search pulled up a few to price compare...

the '09 GTS in Danvers, MA i think is sold. 5k miles and a CPO for 63k list.

'09 GTS in Bristol CT is at a Kia dealership. if you follow the carfax, they bought it in Chicago at an auction. I didn't look at this one because the salesmen have been driving it daily and they sound (and act) like Kia dealers and it is non-CPO. 64k for 15k miles

the '08 GTS in Fairfield is still listed. I did look at this one, but backed out because of the PCM. this one came with snows, looked great and is definitely worth considering if you can get by the old PCM. 60k for 15k miles.

IMHO, these all had very low miles, 2 of them with CPO backing... i think you can do better, especially if you don't limit yourself to an MT GTS.

Sorry, wasn't clear - this is a tiptronic equipped GTS. Final offer was $62K with CPO and 4 new tires. I walked, but am having serious second thoughts.

I would think there would be a little influx of '09 GTS'es coming onto the market soon since 3 year leases will be ending. Might that help the market price a bit?
