Same-car-wave?

I love this topic.
I was driving down a residential street the other day and there was a blonde lady driving a white Cayenne S (2009ish) toward me, I gave the wave on top of my steering wheel and she waved back
Happend again about a week later as well with a beige/olive colour Cayenne with a man driving it.

Whoa, what's with the multiple deja vu postings? RL has entered twilight zone level two. You guys are seeing these, right?
Back OT.....really pretty Alfa, SRL. I always wanted one in red but the green is very nice.

Sorry guys....RL was doing wierd things when I was posting that....database message errors, etc....
John - Light Musk Green - AR 227.
I think I'll wave at every other Ford Super Duty (my DD) pickup driver on my way home tonight. Hope my arm doesn't get too tired.

I agree that the Cayenne Companion effect is very different than the other models. For one, way too many non-Porsche afficionados driving Cayennes (Rennlisters notwithstanding). In the last two weeks, I've seen maybe 10 P!gs around here, most within a few miles of our semi-affluent neighborhood. Probably 8 of the 10 driven by women, and the women freeway drivers were full-on Prius-ing in the far right lane (clearly not Pops/EW). One guy was at the pump, pimped out and not the least bit concerned at the $100 tab. Maybe one traditional driver around and about. Seems many of my Cayenne siblings in this area just wanted the next trendy Escalade.
On the other hand, the Boxster always got a nod or gesture from other Boxsters. And even other "real" P-cars. The Cayennes around seem to be driven by the stuffy, pretentious Mercedes-Benz crowd trying to stand out a little more in their lone snobbishness.
Which is why I don't wash mine...

Pops, you change avatars about as often as I change underwear, which is usually once a day if anyone cares. Anyway, the blue eyed guy with the beard looks familiar but I can't place him; who is it?

Guy in the avatar is The Luckiest Guy on Earth aka Mr. Monica Bellucci and his birth name, if it matters is Vincent Cassel. You've probably seen him in "Ocean's 12" as The Night Fox or in "Black Swan".
P.S. You should start visiting RL OT. Once you do, try to follow Aeroman aka Man of Way Too Many Avatars.

It's been a while since I saw Oceans 12 but now I remember. And Thomas in The Black Swan, of course! I saw that just recently. I briefly thought it might be him but he looked different in that pic so I wasn't sure.
BTW, I took a little license in equating your avatar and my underwear change. As I said, once a day (whether I need to or not!)
