P!G - Is the new Cayenne worthy of this name?
The members of the Rennlist Cayenne Forum warmly welcome our newest members who have purchased both pre-owned & new Cayennes in the last six months or so.
There has been much discussion about whether or not to continue Larry's (RIP) characterization of the 1st/2nd Gen Cayennes into the newest generation Cayenne.
Some have suggested that the old & new groups be segregated as others have expressed their wishes to continue with the swine-like reference. As the new Cayenne now comes in an optional hybrid version, I truly wonder whether or not it's worthy of the term "P!G". Then again, with reports of heavy oil consumption on certain models, it may very well be a perfect candidate for this particular coining.
My personal preference would be Bratisleipzigarten to commemorate it's heritage of Bratislava,Slovakia with Leipzig,E.Germany (Old) and Stuttgart,W.Germany (Old).
Members, please unite and vote for your choice of name for the new Cayenne! Option #7 is there for your own recommended version.

It has always been the P!g and shall remain so for perpetuity.
Now, if you will keep this poll open for a bit longer, I have to go get Larry so he can vote.

No, I'm not back.
This was just something that needed to be dealt with.
There are very few things I feel strongly about...this subject happened to be one of them.
Poll seems to in Larry's favor...I knew his vote carried weight.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to bring Larry back "home".
P.S. Out of respect to Pops, Larry agreed that the term Lexus is also acceptable.

2598x1549 pixels. Thank you!
May I ask for a pointer of the grave.
It is certain that this photo will be used as a way to pay tribute to the late Larry, especially for members from other continents.

No disrespect intended Pops, but Lexus is totally unacceptable to me. I vote for P!G 2 (P!G Reincarnate is too long). It keeps the spirit alive but allows for some separation from the original and never to be forgotten P!G.
edit: Just saw the current poll numbers and over 1.2 million people have already voted to retain P!G. I'd suspect vote fraud if this were any other venue. Guess that decides it then.....

Based on popular vote (1,248,549 vs 6), I guess P!G stays....
BTW, I think Larry may have been a ballot-counter at Jeb's election a few years back...
